Hi darlings. I'm currently in heaven right now. I'm attending a rock out concert here. Heaven has been having a rockin' concert since November 24,1991, the day when my most precious was lifted up there and was asked to make beautiful rockin' music. Heaven has been transformed into Wembley all over again. Freddie took me by the hand and we sang on stage belting out "Don't Stop Me Now" all the way. Freddie Mercury has definitely ruined all men for me.
Well enough with the drama. I'm talking about my super cool and rockin' Freddie Mercury t-shirt. I had his harlequin pose printed on a white drape t-shirt dress today that I bought on a thrift store here. Its the outfit he first wore on Queen's concert at Houston Texas 1975. I'm also wearing a bomber jacket on top for the feel of it and wore lots of bangles to tighten up the look. I was suppose to wear a layered chain necklace as well since Freddie is also wearing a layered chain necklace there but it would have ruined the print of my shirt.
I always picture my Freddie Mercury this way. With his black and white diamond clad harlequin tights and a leather jacket instead of the usual yellow jacket and the mustache which he is so famous for. I feel the harlequin look is far more superior and it reminds me of the time when their(Queen) music was still very fresh and was still "them" instead of the latter songs that they had, that makes me sad and I really mean SAD and trust me I only get sad sometimes. Because the latter songs were almost wringed out of them just so they can produce a song and to recapture their glory days but doing so in a way that they were also keeping up with the trends of the time. It makes me sad because they felt that they needed to change their music just so that they will be accepted again but the truth of the matter is, Queen was loved because of their unique music and changing it was a big mistake. We love them already. Their fans love them. They didn't really need to change. But that was all in the past now. They're still cool as hell and they're still my favorite band. I love my new shirt. It screams LOVE. I have to go back on stage now darlings. Freddie is waiting for me. xoxo
