Burlesque mode:ON

Hey there darlings....

Today I woke up early from my beauty rest(?). Since most of you I suppose know that I'm a vampire, the sun was still shining when I woke up and so I had a lot of free time. I watched a bit of Burlesque again but don't think I was only into Burlesque stuff when I watched the movie. I was already a fan waaaaay before. I really like Dita Von Teese and the such so I was really inspired still when the movie Burlesque went out. But anyway, back to topic. I watched the part when Xtina sang the song "But I am a Good Girl" and I got really inspired by her eye make up so since I had a lot of free time before my vampire work started, I decided to paint my eyes with the same eye make up as hers. All silvery and smokey and cat-eye-ish(even though I do where cat-eye make up everyday,for those who know me,they would definitely say that its an alien if I don't get to do my cat-eye make up. That means its either a bad day or im sick as hell).

Here's what I did:

I went and got my Bobbi Brown eye-shadows and took the whitish silver eyeshadow first

and then blended it with the grayish-silver eyeshadow

and after that the coal Mary Kay eye shadow that I have

and placed on top of that the shimmer black eyeshadow of Bobbie Brown to achieve a silvery-smokey eye look and then I topped it off with black liquid eyeliner to make the cat eye and then placed mascara. It was wonderful. I felt like going to a Burlesque Lounge after that but I just went to work. The outfit for today was silk and I topped it off with my long pearl Chanel necklace and long pearl necklace that has two black roses on it that I bought here at a vintage boutique to give it that feel. Everybody was like "Cool eyes Jade". I know it may sound too "dressy"(if you like to call it that) but I love it anyway. You only have one life baby. When am I suppose to wear this kind of make up anyway? When I'm dying? Anyway, I had a blast. Sorry I don't have time to post the pictures of me wearing this kind of make up but I will next time. So this time I'll just post the picture of Xtina on the song performance of "But I am a Good Girl" so you'll all know what the hell I'm talking about. Cherry Bye!
