Today is April 12,2011 at 1:03 am exactly. This is my first blog entry here in blogger. I have had different blogs but i decided to make this one as crazy and RAW and possible. Im not going to hold back on this one. Lately there has nothing been that important that has happened in my life except for the usual drink out sessions with my friends and discussing about music.
I do however want to let something out of my chest that I have been meaning to tell the whole world and especially to my country men. I recently watched MYX on TV and I saw that one of the most popular songs in my country to date is a song called "Victory Korea" by the Korean boy band "Super Junior". No offense on them and most definitely no offense on Korea but why is the song intended for the soccer/football team of Korea being showcased here in the Philippines and how come it became and instant hit???!!! I am not angry at Super Junior since they intended to make that song for the Korean football team, what I am angry about is why the Filipino people decided to make it a hit here in our country? What about our own songs? Why cant we make our own Filipino songs a hit here? It seems a little sad and pathetic that we have to like another nations "music"
No offense again, but whats the difference between their music and ours anyway? The answer to that is NOTHING. A big fat NOTHING. The only difference from them to us is that they are "good looking". Please define good looking though. I like my men dark and tall and full of piercings and tattoos with long hair. The regular Filipino bad boy. No offense again, I dont want to offend anyone, to those girls who like their men pale and skinny and really Asian looking and who have amazing hair cuts. Anyway, thats what pissed me off a little but im calm now. I just wish this little blog entry will spark the patriotism of my fellow men. Victory Philippines!
